THE COMPOSER 

Scott Hamilton is a Songwriter , Composer, Musician ( pianist & singer) & Educator  from Melbourne Australia. His first musical 'From the Dust' played in Melbourne in 2013 and 2015. He has accompanied a range of performing artists and ensembles across diverse musical styles from classical, sacred, pop to music theatre.

He sang as a chorister & soloist with the Melbourne Chamber Choir for 8 years and as a chorus member of the Melbourne City Opera in a production of Carmen, and with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in their Classical Spectacular. He has collaborated extensively with Australian Jazz singer Bridgette Allen in a series of productions, and has served as a Director of the Leading Dramatic Society.

He composed the music for a series of videos with leading international artists Casey Elliott (USA), Nicole Pinnell (USA) , Chenille Sheeran (USA) and Savannah Stevenson (London, Great Britain).

Scott was an assistant director for the first production of 'Saviour of the World' in Melbourne. A piano student of Dr Ian Holtham, he also studied singing with Margaret Brown, Annalisa Kerrigan & Yu Jixing. Scott holds an A. Mus. A in piano from Australia and Associate & Licentiate Diplomas in Voice from the Trinity College of Music (London). 

He is excited to be working on his second musical 'ONE SPRING MORN'.
